Refreshing Life Groups

The Hope Malaysia LGL Conference 2024 (LGLC24), was a resounding success, bringing together Pastors, Coordinators, Life Group leaders and potential leaders from various centres to a transformative experience centred around the theme “Refresh, Retool, Reconnect”. Over the course of three days, delegates engaged in a series of sessions designed to equip and refresh their spirits for Life Group ministry. With over 400 delegates in attendance, LGLC24 offered opportunities to reconnect with fellow leaders and strengthen relationships across church centres.

LGLC24 was specifically targeted at Life Group leaders, focusing on equipping them to lead more effectively and nurture their Life Groups. The program, filled with teachings by Pastor Denis Lu, Pastor Wilson Lim and Pastor Simon Eng, masterclasses, critical roundtable discussions, and forum and discussion with Ps Daniel Lee, Ps Joshua Gan and Ps Simon Eng, was designed to provide practical tools and spiritual encouragement for Life Group ministry. Many delegates expressed appreciation for the targeted nature of the sessions, stating that they left feeling recharged and equipped for the work ahead.

A standout moment of the conference was Kairos Night, led by Pastor Lai Ling. The extended worship and deep sense of God’s presence made a lasting impression on the delegates. Many shared that it was a spiritually significant time, where they experienced personal breakthroughs and renewed vision for their ministries.

According to the post-conference survey, 90% of delegates felt spiritually refreshed, and 85% found the content practical for their ministries. The networking opportunities during meal times and connect sessions were highly praised, contributing to the success of the conference’s objective to reconnect leaders.

Hosted by Hope Kuala Lumpur for Hope Malaysia churches, the LGLC24 successfully met its goals and objectives, and the impact will be evident as leaders return to their ministries refreshed, retooled, and ready to make a lasting difference in their communities, transforming lives everywhere.
