It was a refreshing time of unity as one church during our recent Family Day! This year’s theme, Transformation Inside Out, brought together over 128 families and church members, eager to be refreshed. Pastor Henry warmly welcomed everyone from Cabuyao, Diezmo, Muntinlupa, as well as participants from San Carlos, Pangasinan, Mindoro, and Antique.
The day started with fun and high energy for the Lord, as each Unit gave their best cheering presentation! This was followed by sports, board games, and other fellowship activities that many enjoyed. God’s tangible presence touched many hearts, leading to fresh encounters during our Encounter Night, where we prayed, worshipped, and sang praises to God together.
On the second day, we gathered for a time of worship and shared a devotional in Streams. To kick off the day, we energised everyone with Zumba as we celebrated the gift of family that the Lord has given to the church. Heaven rejoiced as we witnessed 8 members surrender their lives to Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, publicly declaring their faith through water baptism!
Later in the morning, we enjoyed family time, fellowship, swimming, and sports, capturing the joy, fun, and togetherness of being one family. The day concluded with Life Groups and workshop sessions for different groups. The workshops aimed to empower husbands and wives, equip adults and parents with timeless wisdom from God’s Word, unlock academic success for the younger generation, and train children in God’s principles.
Throughout all these activities, we sensed God’s immense work of transformation from the inside out in each believer, motivating us towards spiritual growth and equipping us for discipleship and fulfilling the Great Commission. All glory and thanksgiving to our Lord Jesus!
