Immeasurably More!

Praise Him who has always been faithful over the years, Him who brought us from hills to mountains, from rivers to seas, from glory to glory!

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Ephesians 3:20-21

With this theme, and with a grateful and joyful hearts, Hope Leeds Church celebrated its 22nd anniversary with a bang. Together with our new sister church Hope Malton-Norton, the celebration kick-started with songs of praise and thanksgiving led by the Hope Leeds band and choir composed of many generations. As young as five-year-old to the most mature member of the team, they led the church into worship in awe and adoration of God’s unfailing love over the years. These brought an explosive atmosphere of excitement and joy.  An almost tangible and heart touching presence of the Holy Spirit is felt as He moved and stir the hearts of many into worship.   Truly He moved the church immeasurably more than we can imagine.

The excitement was followed by a powerful and challenging message from Pastor Tino, as he urged the church to keep on persevering in our faith even in the midst of our difficult circumstances, for He will do more than what we ask for as we continue to obey and be faithful. 

The church has also witnessed a heart moving testimony from Sis Mary Jane who experienced the blessing and peace after forgiving her mother whom she bore grudges for years. Her husband, Bro. Vincent also testified of how their life group and the church supported them as a family which led him to believe and submit his life to Christ.

Bro. Rael from Hope Malton also testified how God transformed his life from feeling like a defeated and hopeless single dad of 3 children after his wife left him for another man, to a man who found hope and purpose when he found Christ.

The celebration concluded with more songs of praise and jubilation, and of course food fellowship. The church has gone through revivals, breakthroughs, transformations and has also witnessed leaders step up in many different ministries. For He who began this church will be faithful to complete it. To Him belongs all glory!
