Lead to March On

At the Hope Philippines Conference, held from March 28th to March 30th, 2024, over 150 participants from different centers in Hope Philippines and its outreaches came together as a corporate church family for a leaders’ conference. It was a time to tune into what God has purposed in leading His church. This year’s theme is “Lead to March On,” and we praise God for the response of all servant leaders who attended.

On the first day of the conference, hearts were expectant as the first session began with heart preparation and prayers. Pastor James Loke opened the first session with a compelling message urging all servant leaders to take their leadership to a higher level, interweaving their skills and character. During the second session, Pastor James spurred each leader on what servant leadership is and how it is important to develop and equip every member of the body of Christ. His message challenged all leaders to intentionally lead to march on to a new season of building strong relationships and teamwork as a key to the Church.

During the third session, Pastor James preached about leaders’ influence, encouraging all leaders to be visionary leaders by setting clear goals, mobilising people by vision and value, and motivating the people based on gratitude, honor, and reverential fear of God. Pastor James reminded the congregation in the fourth session to take action in multiplying and striving together in the Great Commission. He intentionally challenged the people to communicate the vision clearly to foster a spirit of oneness and moving together in fulfilling God’s purpose in our lives.

There were afternoon sessions filled with games and activities that fostered a spirit of oneness and teamwork. There were also workshops that allowed the leaders to be equipped and exercise their leadership skills, with case studies available to choose from. Many were blessed during the sunset encounter; it was impactful and they were marked for a change as they surrendered and recommitted to God.

We were privileged to hear testimonies from mission spots as they shared with us about their journey in starting and growing the work of the Lord. We were truly amazed and blessed by what God is doing in the mission fields. It was a refreshing time not only for the practical learnings we received but also for experiencing the tangible presence of God as we take hold of the vision in fulfilling the Great Commission to which He has called us. All glory to God!
