On October 15, 2023, Hope Newcastle joyfully marked its 11th anniversary, embracing the theme “Transforming Lives Everywhere.” This theme is at the heart of Hope International Ministries’ Vision 2030, underscoring our mission to inspire and enact change in individuals’ lives through faith. The celebration was not just a commemoration of our journey but a reflection on how Jesus continues to transform our faith, purpose, and lives.
A couple of brothers and sisters from Hope Leeds and Hope Online also came to support and celebrate this milestone with us.
The Holy Spirit’s work is ultimately about glorifying God. While we can achieve great things through our own efforts, seeking personal glory often leads to self-destruction. True joy and fulfillment come when the Holy Spirit works within us, and God’s glory shines through our actions.
Our celebration emphasized that our desire for transformed lives is not for our own glory or that of our church movement but for God’s glory. God desires to restore and renew people’s hearts, drawing them closer to Him. As believers, we are privileged to be agents of this divine restoration.
Our 11th anniversary was more than a celebration; it was a reaffirmation of our mission and vision. It reminded us of the importance of allowing the Holy Spirit to work through us to transform lives and glorify God. As we move forward, we remain steadfast in our belief that true transformation is the work of the Holy Spirit. We are honored to be part of God’s grand plan to restore hearts to Him, and we are excited about the journey ahead.
